Coronavirus Announcement

To the GlobalEd community: This is a time of unprecedented difficulty and uncertainty throughout the world. While the spread of COVID-19 has led to the suspension of programs worldwide and, specifically, of our own programs in Europe, Morocco and Argentina, we sincerely hope that it has not also suspended students’ dreams to experience the world.

This semester is not going the way any of us had hoped or planned. However, a part of studying abroad is learning to expect the unexpected and to adapt to new realities. In everything, there is an opportunity to learn and grow. We are incredibly sorry to see our 2020 Spring students leave; but now that they are home, we’d like to say that we are also incredibly proud of their attitudes, strength, and resilience throughout this time.

Over the past few weeks we have received several inquiries regarding our summer and fall programs.

• We have cancelled ALL of our traditional Summer programs
• 2020 Fall programs are still active and host institutions are making special accommodations to allow for last minute enrollment with no need to request a student visa.
• We expect our 2021 Spring programs to run as normal.

Our students’ health and safety has always been and will continue to be our top priority. Please take care of yourselves, continue to think about the way your actions affect others, and maintain a positive attitude about the future. GlobalEd continues to support our current students throughout this remote learning phase, and we commit to supporting all those students who are still dreaming about and planning for their future study abroad.
